games Game suggestions please

What is good about Sega and Nintendo emus and ROMs is they have save state...It helps when playing those impossibly hard games...
I know that trust me, but there's also something I really like about the process/repetition of "getting good" and memorizing games, it's kinda soothing. Makes its feel like more of an accomplishment when u beat something too.

Emulators are good if you got a PC set up to play games...a great genesis/megadrive two player game to play, is general chaos, you pick your team and have to take the most territory on the map...each stage is a piece of the map to win...My dad and I had plenty of punch ups over that one...well, he did most of the punching...good times...
General chaos kicks ass 🥰

I'm over here reading and thinking I have no idea what you people are talking about, lol.
Right then, back to the forum I go.
I was a game nerd since I was 5. There used to be this 24 hour service station a few houses down. My old man and I would go play games at night...Bad dudes vs dragon ninja, Xain'd sleena, Shinobi, exed exes, karate champ(two joysticks no buttons, air wolf, Wonderboy(finished it), Ghosts and goblins(my mate finished it, one of the hardest games ever), Double Dragon...

Shinobi is maybe my favorite game series ever. So much better than ninja gaiden imo. Still looking for an original shadow dancer cabinet, don't think I'll ever find one.

Fuckin spell check "Gaiden"...The first Ninja Gaiden on PS3 was an awesome game...If you haven't played it, do it...The ones after got progressively worse...

Just looking for suggestions on some fun co-op games . In strict lockdown here so going out is currently not an option and me and the dude have started co-op gaming more . Hes really good at all games a nerd type. Me , Im a bit shit to average. ( he has every single console ever from a speak and spell to ps5) but we have 2 pcs in the same room, and 2 switchs so can local co-op too

So far weve played Sea of Thieves, and have pretty much done everything in that and just wait for updates, totally love the game
Wow ( I find wow a bit boring and easy and it looks like shit)
Elder Scrolls, too easy and repetitive
Portal2
Payday2
lfd2
gta5
Don't starve together
pacify
sven coop bag of wank but he loves that shit

There are more but just platformy stuff like battle block theatre, which are great fun, but Im needing something more open worldy, fighty, explory , puzzly even..

currently playing far cry 5 and almost done ( have got 6 ordered) I think this game is fucking wonderful and I d love something similar. I think fc5 is so much fun and so immersive and would love something similar, open world.. where you can fight or can search for stuff etc etc

must be compatible with rum. any suggestions most welcome . Thanks <3

co-op (PC) is supposed to be great, I used to play singleplayer when it first came out on steam it's pretty good.
