That's one of my favourite audio experiences--the recipe:
-One really nice pair of old full range drivers left on a shelf for a year
-Connect them
-Play them for around a half an hour
Suddenly the high and low frequency connect like wave, and it sounds so cool.

Not so much, no. But that's an ok cover, not terrible but not great.
Cave party sounds like a blast though, I could get into that.

Most of his catalog is best enjoyed if it's being played by Heifetz (the g.o.a.t. imo) or Perlman, just fantastic.

I dig his work in general, mononoke and nausica are my favorite films of miyazaki's and my favorite of Joe's scores. Love the message of both of those films
