A man from Washington state beheaded his girlfriend in front of their 3-year-old daughter — later telling cops he “had spoken with God” and been ordered to “strike down” the woman “because she did not repent,” reports say.
Moments after the gruesome killing, Timothy Hernandez, 32, allegedly instructed his little one to “go say goodbye to mommy.”
He quoted two different Bible verses while speaking to cops about what happened on Sunday, and insisted he was carrying out God’s will.
“Each of the verses that were quoted had passages in them that spoke about women who did not follow God’s word, so God stuck them down,” investigators wrote in charging documents, which were obtained by local outlets.
Hernandez allegedly gave his girlfriend, Vanessa Cons, a chance “to repent,” but he claimed she refused.
Timothy stated that he struck her down, and caused for her head to be removed from her body,” according to investigators.
Their daughter told cops that she “saw Daddy cut Mommy with scissors” — but it was actually a butcher knife that he allegedly used. The girl said she “did not know why Mommy had her eyes closed and blood on her face” after being instructed to go say goodbye to her.
Hernandez, who is charged with first-degree murder, claimed during police interviews that he was “not crazy” because “a crazy person would not tell the truth.” He is currently being held on $1 million bail.

They believe Hernandez sawed her head off from her body and placed it on the back of her torso, according to the incident report.
Police also found bloody clothing in a laundry basket and a chemical examination found bloody footprints around Cons' body that led to the kitchen sink, documents indicate.
