I'm going out on a limb and thinking you're in the USA? There's all kids of land out there for next to nothing, if you know where to look. You can even find free land, and the state will pay you to establish residency.

But, the land and a small, comfortable home is the easy part. The hard part is learning the skills required to truly survive and enjoy life completely disconnected.

yes i have survival skills. i have carpentry skills as well. i wont go hungry or cold or dehydrate.
even if you squat now a day,you will still be found. satellites are all over. eventually someone will be seen.
i want total isolation. fuck the govt and their greedy scumbag ways!

Ah, gotcha. So, you want "off-grid" and anonymity/invisibility. Best way to accomplish that is either in the midwest, or Alaska.
