For me it was looking at the science of the Earth . If bible said there where dinosaurs then different apes and human types . They might be in with a shot . What happens after death ? You are gone, you don't float up to heaven as some magical angel, you don't go down to some devil, you simply cease to exist. The only thing that lives on in the memory of you in people that knew you, until they die, and their kids die, then you're nothing and forgotten. Unless you do something meaningful in history.
