What's on the menu tonight?

breakfast was hard boiled egg over mashed up avocado with slice of tomato and a potato patty with bacon. cranberry juice and coffee. i could have eaten more,but i dont want to fill myself up right now.

anyone - tell me the best way to cook/prepare asparagus - steamed/boiled/fried ?
Many years ago a friend took me to a very expensive restaurant, I ordered asparagus. They were sautéed with garlic, lemon, salt and pepper - it was amazing.

the recipe
modifications being italian parsley & chives added to the filling, added an extra egg yoke and no caraway (its a goddamned vile spice and it looks like mouse turds)

Served with a rocket salad & I'm in a festive mood so a bottle of Chateau Ferran
