Thunder/Lightening/Rain

Most people consider a bright, sunshine filled day to be the best kind of day. I like rainy days especially with a bunch of lightening and thunder thrown in. To me, it's the best sleeping weather, stay at home weather, and even while working, weather.

How about you? And do you think there could be a connection between liking gore and stormy weather? Just curious...

I think the love of stormy weather stems from one's innate desire to be lazy but needing a good excuse for it. "Oh, it's raining, now I can sit inside my house all day drinking tea and relaxing."

I'm with you on this for sleeping weather. Nothing beats it.

Well, that may very well be the case for normal people to feel that way but not for me. I loved hearing the sound of rain pounding down on the metal roofing at work. I'm at home right now while it's storming, perusing gore between getting a lot of mundane things done. It's just....really peaceful to me.

I prefer rainy weather as well. Petrichor/geosmin, the smell of earth after it rains. Lovely.

You spelled "Lightning" incorrectly.
I even enjoy the smell of asphalt after it rains. Lol! But, yes, soil from the woods after a good rain...awesome..

Thanks for the spelling lesson! I've always spelled it lightening...lol

My perfect weather is 80 degrees (I’m a goddamn murican that doesn’t speak Celsius) and overcast. I like warmth in darkness. But not raining.

That weather helps me hide in the bushes while watching neighbors through their windows. For long periods of time. While touching myself… talking to them in whispers.

I don't see it as her worst. The rain keeps everything alive. The winds provide energy. Once they figure out a way to harness lightning (a way to meter it) it will give endless energy. It's mother nature at her best my friend ⛈️⛈️⛈️

At her best, or worst, all semantics. Let's just say .. love her weather choices

rain is infantry weather.
i dont mind the summer rain,as long as it cools it down a few notches. mostly though,it jacks the humidity up. which suck because the storm is over and the sun shines compounding the misery of it all.
and as dokra mentioned,it is an excuse to just laze around and decompress.

I believe you are noticing their neuroticism.

Do you mean like Crimea? or the two entire regions that Ukraine lost that weren't even disputed 😂

"Hurrr Ukraine is winning" 🤡🌍
Good point. Let’s separate the 2014 territories from the recent ones. Do you think they can get neither/both/just one of ‘em?

But 80 degrees.......?
Fuck ya - I love warmth in darkness. And I’m fairly skinny.

Seymour Hersh puts it this way:

I learned that in the first two weeks of the operation, the Ukraine military seized only 44 square miles of territory previously held by the Russian army, much of it open land. In contrast, Russia is now in control of 40,000 square miles of Ukrainian territory. I have been told that in the past ten days Ukrainian forces have not fought their way through the Russian defenses in any significant way. They have recovered only two more square miles of Russian-seized territory. At that pace, one informed official said, waggishly, it would take Zelensky’s military 117 years to rid the country. of Russian occupation.

Hersh now knows a Pulitzer prize and all his experience doesn't mean shit when you don't tow the official media lies. He's blacklisted by MSM.

So are you putting your money on the land not changing hands much more, and a treaty will be signed? Or that russia is going to go back on the offensive?

I watched an interview with some russian soldiers that are now being held in ukraine - they said their superiors got into their units pain killers and started poppin’ pills. Their orders were horrible, and these two stayed in the trenches while the rest of the unit ran away. They then surrendered when the Ukrainians got to them. Interesting interview.
