Do you suffer from headaches?

I am better than you!
All my life, I have suffered from headaches. Terrible headaches, at least 4 to 5 days each month. I have been to fancy headache clinics. They were pretty much worthless. They prescribed all sorts of fancy migraine, headache medicine that made my headaches much much worse. I believe they misdiagnosed it as migraine.
My primary doctor retired, and my new doctor told me about a study he participated in.
(400 mg Magnesium ) once daily. I have not had a headache in six months now.
Magnesium is relatively safe and water soluble, the worst side effect I believe can be diarrhea. It is available at the drugstore non prescription over the counter.

Don’t take this without talking your doctor first. This was a miracle cure for me. If you suffer from headaches and migraine meds made it worse try this.

It’s hard to get enough magnesium in a Western diet. I supplement with it more to manage my ADHD, along with several other supplements.

High dose vitamin B2 (riboflavin) at 100-400mg daily is what I usually advise my patients to take for chronic (long term) headaches. I also take this myself as I previously had cluster headaches and migraines regularly. It makes your urine luminous yellow but that’s the only side effect. B2 is used in energy production of the brain cells’ mitochondria, so I see it like increasing the fuel tank to allow the brain to run at full speed without breaking down.

Managing stress is also key. The world is stressful. Headaches are stressful too, but usually result from the hormones released by stress effecting our cardiovascular and nervous systems. Mindfulness, meditation and learning about your own mind is helpful to minimise stress responses to the world.

Neck exercises to strengthen the back of our necks can be helpful too. Our heads weigh about the same as a 5L bottle of water. So if our neck is weak at the back, our heavy head leans for ward putting a lot of strain on the nerves around the back of our heads and necks. Lying on your back and pushing your head back into a pillow 10-20 times every night when getting into bed is the easiest way of sorting this, but general exercises and fitness help too.

I’ve gotten TBI on separate occasions and used to have constant migraines. Now I’ll get cluster headaches that either will last a minute or a week. Luckily not as often but at least once a month. My neurologist basically says there are no way to prevent them as they come randomly and nothing has helped. He says be happy you’re alive. I just get stoned off my ass and stay hydrated til it passes.

I was told getting a tattoo helps keep headaches at bay. Ink-up bitches!
Getting a tattoo only solidifies your low educational level and poor financial status.

So what you're saying is you shit your pants now, but least the headaches are gone:lulz:
Only for the first few days yes, then my body got used to it and it was not a problem any longer.

One would be led to believe that someone who hangs out with 150+ IQ friends and is in the 1% wealth category wouldn't need to rely on a $5.00 bottle of magnesium from walmart to cure his headaches, but i digress.

I suffer from chronic migraines and I was recommended magnesium daily by one of the UK's top Neurologists.
It definitely has helped as I stopped the magnesium and my migraines became more frequent so I started taking it again and less migraines again.

Headaches are very tricky to treat. With all the studies and medical advancements made in the last 20 years, they are still baffled.

Mann it’s sucks to hear others in the same boat as me but comforting I’d say. After my tours in Afghanistan and several TBIs I get a wicked migraines at least once a week. Where all you can do is sleep to make the pain go away. Thankfully I’ve gone like 3 weeks now without a real bad one. Hopefully you are finally able to get some sense of a normal life now.
