Taken July 16 2023 in Bellemont AZ 9:30 am after just waking up and walking to pinch a loaf in the same direction this fucker went in. Walked by the same abandoned green folding chair too. Had I stayed in the spot where I was pooing 10 minutes longer we would have had been on the news. I woke up the SO saying bear, bear, bear as I got the phone out to make an award winner. I could hear the fucker's paw steps on the ground as he strolls not less than 30 feet away.

Here it's between me and the I-40 headed west. I'm no master camera shot so again please 🐻 with me.

I found it! I probably should have compared it to Finding Waldo, not Loch Ness monster. But now that i see it, i can’t tell if it’s actually a bear. So now is when i should have used the Loch Ness monster simile.

Funny you say that cuz my second nanosecond thought upon seeing this fucker, was this isn't even an asshole in a bear costume this is actual bear.

I had walked about 10 feet away from my truck looking at another campsite fire pit, and caught it in my peripheral walking by another campers' truck, and I bolted for my truck and in doing so ran towards the bear. It heard me, looked at me, then started a soft short jog away in the same direction it was headed as I got to my truck door and opened it getting my phone.

Lived in AZ for awhile. Never heard of bellemont. Looks like it's by Payson or flagstaff judging by the pines. Seen a javalina before out there but not a bear...

It's about 13 minutes west of Flag and 30 east of Williams
