Need help, looking for paranormal/ghost forums

There use to be a scary stories website, I can't remember what it was called, but essentially was for user submitted scary fiction. The one thing I clearly recall about this website was that on every Halloween it would crash from overuse. The servers just couldn't handle the increased user traffic of the early 2000's-era internet.

I remember the owner was a very depressed man with the username Morlock. I remeber his username because I had just read H. G. Wells' book the Time Machine and the Morlocks were these subterranean humanoid monsters in it, but I digress. I can still remember Morlock constantly trying to raise money - sometimes saying it was for server maintenance, other times it was for electric bills, or some other computer related nonsense. Then one day he said his brother needed an operation and if he didn't get the money for it he was going to die.

Well one day, he posts a story about which read more like an autobiography than a work of fiction. I still remember being one of the first users to read it. And to say it was dark would be an understatement. He listed names of people he knew who had died and they violent ways they had met their end - gunshot, suicide, car crash, etc.

Well a few days later it was Halloween and sure enough the website crashed as usual but when it booted the next day all the user generated stories were deleted. The website was completely scrubbed except for the file Morlock had uploaded himself. At the end of the story was a string of numbers I didn't understand the meaning of.

Some web users soon realized the numbers were geographical coordinates. I later read this on the encyclopediadramatica. When locals in the area invested the coordinates they found the owner of the website - Morlock bound and gagged in a padlocked trunk in the woods - dead. The cops soon realised that the body had been there for years.

The case was never solved, the weird thing was this was exactly how his uploaded story ended.

My honest reaction to reading about ANYONE wanting info on ghosts and paranormal activities... on a Gore site.
