Have you watched The Substance (2024) yet? It has both constant female nudity and cronenberg-esque prosthetics. Honestly thought a movie like this couldn't be made these days (what with everything being woke these days). But this was honestly quite a surprise, and it's my new favorite of 2024. It gave me alot of Alien/Annihilation vibes, and the crazy thing is it doesn't take itself too seriously, I was laughing quite a bit at times.They just don't make movies like this anymore. I agree, I love the top notch practical effects. A recent movie with not to serious but great gore and effects was The Blob, the 80s remake with Ethan Hawke.
