i like to read "how to" books or education. let it be history,or medical or anything that i can use for survival, if shit hits the fan. even some espionage.
i even wrote a book a ways back. never published or anything. i did it just for myself. and no,it wasnt a diary/journal.

i recommend that every parent here turn their kids onto a series called "The Boxcar Children" by Gertrude Warner. i loved them books as a kid
even mysteries. The Hardy Boys as well.
i even liked to read the books where you chose your own adventure. when you read up to page 4,then if you wanted to go through the tunnel,turn to page 18. if you wanted to go around the tunnel,turn to page 5. them kind of books were fun to read.
