More rural area. I ride my road bike sometimes on some scenic country roads here. So far everyone has been cool towards me giving me room and slowing down. Only takes one though... I try to be cautious to not end up in one of the videos here if I can help it.

I have lived in the biggest city, and true rural settings. The beauty that is New York state, but don't sleep on Pennsylvania.

I'll also say you need a mountain bike more in the city then the country.
