The big 'question' is whether or not the Black Hawk pilots were wearing night vision goggles. Now why you would want to wear such gear on a civilian area trip over a brightly lit city is not asked. I think all you'd see is a mess of light...

I'm no aviation expert though.

There was also 'helpful' media talk about the search for survivors. When aircraft enter water at speed, no one survives.

Sully's surf on the Hudson was a wild anomaly.

Both aircraft were broken up. When you see how aircraft are put together, the force taken to do that makes human survival wildly unlikely, Vesna Vulović not withstanding...

That's right, night vision would probably just burn out your eyes in the city lights
But isn't there a laser rangefinder or radar on that damn plane or helicopter either?
I'm not an aircraft expert either, but these things should be installed on a plane so that even if the plane is in autopilot mode, it knows exactly where to turn
It's unlikely that there are any survivors, the footage I saw was saw with night vision, CNN showed it, you can only see a big flash of light and then they fall down quickly, but it doesn't hurt to do some research for survivors, sometimes someone can be very lucky
 
The female pilot was a former aide in the Biden administration and according to other sources pro lgbtq.
I do not want to begin conspiracy theories but that helio went straight towards that bird. Hopefully with the new Administration we will eventually know the truth.

air traffic controllers are over worked and underpaid,yes. this has been for a long while now. youd think with a job like that,thered be more incentive to be a controller. apparently they have to live a strict life style just the same. no drinking and no drugs. a certain time on and time off and sleep is essential. but its being said this person in the control tower has been over worked and over loaded with work. but thats not being spoken about,rather race,ethnicity and gender (m/f) is. being a controller is reminiscent of being a public defender. overworked,over loaded,and under paid!
