I've had a tib&fib snapped in 2 by a car when I was 18, I didn't feel a thing for like 6 hours until they moved me for surgery, Id tried to stand up on it twice (turned it into a compound fracture while doing so) and then lifted my leg up so it hung in the middle of my shin so someone I knew who was passing by could see it, shock is an amazing drug.
That gas and air in the back of an ambulance ain't bad either.
