this fucker that did apparently had like 50 interactions with police in the past relating to mental issues and he still has a fucking drivers license.

everywhere by design mental asylums are shut down and the streets are the mental asylums now. fuck all politicians that sugar coat shit like this.

also I heard through the grapevine that during the attack there wasn't a single cop in attendance due to low funding for the event, it was all volunteers, the just showed up in numbers for the media once the incident happened.

The vehicle entered the street where people were attending a Filipino community festival just after 8 p.m.

Vancouver police say a car crash into a crowd during a festival is not yet being treated as a terrorist attack.

They also reported that the culprit of the tragedy had been detained; he is a 30-year-old local resident.

A released video shows that the attacker was driving carelessly prior to the incident.

The police confirmed that the incident occurred around 8 PM (local time) at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, during the Lapu Lapu Day celebrations.

Current reported death toll is 8, while 6 others are in hospitals in critical condition.

The driver was driving through the festival until the car broke down.
