Who is Evil? The Serpent or God?

This has always made me question the Christian version of things. The Gnostic Christians believed that the god (little g) that created man was the evil being created by a true God (Big G) and the Serpent was the Good being. That man's creator has portrayed itself as a Big G God to mankind, when in reality it was just an advanced species ruler so that they would worship him.
Then you have the Garden of Eden deal where god has told man NOT to eat from the Tree of Knowledge or they will be cast out.
Then the Serpent shows up and tells Adam and Eve that they have the spark of Divinity within them and if they eat from the Tree of Knowledge, they will become self-aware. He told them that now, they are just like the animals, unaware of their true self. Then they ate the Fruit and noticed their nakedness, basically becoming aware of self. The Gnostics say that the Serpent was the one who brought mankind out of being just an animal and into being an aware being.
It sounds like the Serpent was the one who helped us out and god actually wanted us to remain animals in his Garden along with the rest. I don't go to church and am not religious, and this contradiction reinforces that.
I think the Gnostics were on to something.
You're listing iterations of a primigenius doctrine foreshadowing Scripture and the apocryphal stories of Gnostics and Lovecraft-like fabulators. If you want a simplified answer to your question -- and you don't mind a bit of mansplaining --, you can watch A24's Heretic, still playing in American and European cinemas.

I'll check it out. I hope it doesn't say that the Bible is the word of God and give no other REALISTIC answer.

God's don't exist.
Something had to create the universe we live in. To say it just popped up out of nothing without a Creator is weak and uneducated.

If that's what you hope, you won't be disappointed then.

Just look at all the shit that happens in life that really doesn't need to happen. People will call a lot of it 'Murphy's Law' ... but if there is an all caring, all loving being...why is he such a big CUNT?
Well either he’s all powerful? Or he’s all loving. He’s not both. There’s definitely never been a loving god. Any idiot that thinks so? Why are there starving children? Diseased children? Dying children. But god loves you? Christian’s or more so those especially involved in Catholicism love to make up their own god. “Let’s pray!“ “it’s a miracle of god!” “God helps you you just have to believe!” What a crock of shit. 95%+ of prayers never get answered. So obviously god isn’t cracked up to be what ppl think he is

The universe coming from “nothing” is NOT what any atheist believes; that is a straw man argument put up by theists. You’re the one making a claim about a “creator” and so a burden of proof is on you to provide evidence for this “creator.”

Lack of evidence (especially on something that cannot be proven or disproven today) is NOT evidence of lack. You just have critical thought at this point and to say something so complex with even a slight difference in the weight of a proton would mean no universe points IN A MASSIVE WAY towards a Creator. It seems OBVIOUS to me after looking at this in depth over Manu years. Not religious at all. Spiritual, yes. To think that consciousness is something that gets switched off at death in a universe that 14 billion years old is counter intuitive. Just sayin brotha. Look beyond the easy shit.

We are basically all like satan, some more than others. He was an angel, got power hungry and fell. I am sure God continues to love him though.
We were created 'good', a tabula rasa. In Gods likeness even. We choose to do good things, or bad things and many will discover that it's not all black and white. Doing a good thing often means doing a bad thing at the same time. So yeah, we were fucked from the start, the game is rigged.
It's cool though, when it's time to leave this earth we'll be tired of the game.

That being said, trying to do good is something we should all go for I think. Most people are more light than dark. It's just that without true darkness, you wouldn't be able to see light. Just watch the stars when you are in a city vs. when you are in nature without artificial lighting.

You’re still just making claims. It seems unlikely TO YOU that the universe exists without a creator. You haven’t demonstrated anything to indicate the presence of one.

"Gnostic Christian" doesn't even make sense. All matter is evil... but created by God? You may as well call the leaders of Israel "Orthodox Jews".

The universe is in you and you are God's tool. The term "gnostic" simply means esoteric

I may be wrong, but the liberals only attack Christianity because it's a European and predominantly white faith. They talk about hating racism while being exclusively racist toward all things European.

So what were Adam and Eve before they were persuaded to take a bite of the Apple? They were unaware of self.
They were just another wild animal in the zoo, totally unaware of their nakedness, in other words feral, wild. And when they took that "bite", they suddenly collected that one thing that god (little g) had insisted be denied to them, that being The Spark of self-awareness! God (little g) was the one who wished to keep all his creatures, his "pets" as animals. He apparently knew that to allow self-awareness was to allow a creature the ability to reflect, to remember, and in time, become as intelligent as him, even possibly more than him, to advance that Spark of the Divine given with the "Apple" until a reunion with God (Capital G). And who caused that self-awareness to become a reality in this story? Not god (little g). No, he insisted on this knowledge being kept from mankind. It was The Serpent. And everywhere you look in Christianity, the Serpent is supposedly evil.
My problem with this is what we've seen Christians do to every other contemporary religion of their time. They've destroyed them, with vicious intent. They've built their temples on top of the other faiths. They've claim the old pagan days of worship with their own made up days, no matter that the days had no relevance to them. They claimed all the miracles done by other older pagan demigods like 3 days dead and resurrection, being called the Lamb of God, Crucifixion.
Whoever this little g god was or is, he's definitely the True God, Creator of our universe and all things. The True Creator would NEVER insist he be worshipped or burn in Hellfire. He would never be vengeful or wrathful against Its own creation. No, I am 100% POSITIVE that what Christians have been worshipping all this time is just another living being of God's creation, PRETENDING to be a god so it is worshipped. An evil thing that has used us, abused us for millennia.
And somehow, the Serpent was responsible for us leaving our wild animal selves behind for self-awareness, for The Spark of Divinity that came with the eating of the Fruit of The Tree of Knowledge.
So, I don't know what else is hidden among the past, within The Holy Bible, The Koran, The Ancient Hindu Tombs, but I'm pretty confident that the Truth is there, somewhere, and it has been denied to us.
Anyone have an opinion, I'm all ears. I can feel the flames already. 🤣🤙✌️🤟

This. If God gave free will but didn't give humanity intellectual capabilities, then exactly what would humans be choosing if they didn't understand what they're doing? Shit in bush, eat plant, sit on rock? They wouldn't be choosing. That wouldn't be free will. It would just be existing.

It just sounds like he wanted to play the Sims.
That's exactly what we were before the Serpent got us to eat the apple and become self aware. Before we saw our own nakedness and covered up, we were just wild animals, another unaware wild animal in the "Zoo of Eden, god (little g's) zoo of pets. The Serpent is responsible for our Spark of Awareness. So I don't think he's the evil one, just called evil by the little g Christian god.

The Bible and its stories (all organized religions) were man-made creations designed to explain shit they couldn’t understand. It also imposed control and fear on those who believed. Control and power.
I personally believe something created the universe and all it holds. Too much beauty, mystery and interwoven concepts to believe it happened by chance. Having said that, mankind monkey humps it to kill and exclude

Literally Luciferian doctrine. "Modern" occultists like Albert Pike, Alastair Crowley, Helena Blavatsky and others have all essentially argued this position over the years. This doctrine has been around forever and on its very shallow surface proves interesting. However, deeper dives into ancient scripture, concerning especially "the serpent" ultimately go nowhere and unmask what the "Nachash" actually is...

Exactly, something created all this shit, but nothing we can understand...humans are nothing more than ants crawling around on the surface of the earth

If god wanted to keep mankind unaware of themselves, why would he create shit like a tree of knowledge of good and evil, and another one with everlasting life? Seems kinda silly and asking for trouble.

‘Here’s a thing I made; DONT TOUCH IT’ now everyone wants to do just that
Nooo shit. Why, right? Seems totally like some advanced species with opposing sides and their (genetic) tech to me, one side (the christians "Serpent") giving it to us. Ancient alien 101.😏At least that makes more sense than bearded dudes sitting on clouds. Lmao!
