Tbh I think he just got scared, they were trying to get at him, he's more than likely trying to get home, someone's hit his car, he's beeped and theyve flipped on him then he's tried to move, couldn't and other people joined in then tried to open his door and he's floored it.

Otherwise he'd have kept on driving and not have stopped.
