Serious Which outdated things would you like to see make a comeback?

I’d like for these to make a comeback:

Privacy or a pre social media society,

Books and Reading

Beatniks

Quaaludes, real ecstasy, pre fentanyl drugs in general is love to make a comeback

a time when wearing suits and better clothes regularly in public

a time when drinking alcohol in the office or at work was accepted.

The most thing I wish would make a comeback is pre 1966 San Francisco Bay Area when LSD was legal and living in the city was dirt cheap and Ken Kesey was doing his acid tests and the Grateful Dead and Jefferson airplane playing around town..
Look out for Kid Charlemagne, and Papa John Creechs' Fiddle!!!

Oh another one I miss from my childhood. I rarely eat candy now but if they brought these back, I would. And the candy Bar None too.

Oh hell yes. Once, I've had a bopper once in my life. Wow, I'm surprised that memory shook loose. I got it on a vacation, I don't think my region had them. I'm from Clark bar country ...

Water-beds and bean bag chairs.

To be fair, I did find both on Amazon, but they're not the same. Give me the beanbag chairs that were covered in that fake leather shit you had to peel away from your skin and water-beds that actually made you seasick the first few nights.

I'd also like to see ashtrays in cars again. I'm not a smoker, but I need somewhere to stash loose change for the arcade.
The German concentration camps full of Jews.🤣❤🇺🇸❤🇷🇺❤

Avon ladies, hate online shopping, hate going to the store. Perfect solution. Get rid of the Mormons soliciting though, just the Avon ladies.

Curtains in cinemas should come back. I used to like going to the movies and although everyone knew there was just a screen behind the curtain , it was part of the movie experience for the curtains to slowly open at the start as the lights dim, exposing the magic of whatever movie was about to happen.
Now days you just walk in , there's your great big white screen right there. Where's the love man.
(also double features ... you'd sit through a crap film before the good one... or the good one would be followed by some piece of crap that ended up better than the main)

I thought bringing back records and a turntable would be so cool👍 I spent all that $ and got some decent equipment but it still sounds like playing records on a turntable😂😂😂😂 bullshit👎😂😂
For me spotify is the way to go 👍😉
I have thousands of the things and can pretty much remember where I was when I bought each one of them, but mainly because I acquired most of them at a young age so they hold sentimental memories. For me it's not so much about sound quality but the nostalgia of my past and holding onto them keeps me strangely connected to a long lost history. I used to love peeling the shrink wrap plastic off the imports and smelling the "new" as I opened the cover and inhaled the vinyl plastic smell. That only happens once then the smell is gone. My sister used to say the same thing about her fashion magazines, the ink has a new smell you only get to experience once LOL the first time you put your face to it, like new books.

They don't jerk the curtains anymore? I haven't been to the movies in decades tho

I'm inclined to believe the moon missions happened. Apparently there were 6 successful landings, Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17. Apollo 13 was supposed to go but experienced an emergency and had to abort. Apollo 10 could have landed but their mission was to finalize systems tests for Apollo 11. I really wish Apollo 10 had disobeyed orders and landed, they would have been the ultimate assholes but NASA wouldn't have fucked with them since they would have to be heralded as heroes for Cold War propaganda purposes. There was also supposed to be Apollo 18, but that mission was canceled and the Saturn V rocket was renovated and turned into the Sky Lab space station, which in my oppinion was the most badass space station, it was essentially a 3 story building launched into orbit, the astronauts could run along the cingular walls creating a type of artificial gravity from the centripetal forces.
But who was on the moon to take the picture of the landing?
