FOLSOM-California State Prison, Sacramento (CSP-SAC) officials are investigating the death of an inmate as a homicide after he was attacked by two other inmates.

Officers recovered one inmate-manufactured weapons at the scene. No staff members were injured in the altercation.

Rodriguez and Vasquez will be retained in segregated housing pending an investigation into their involvement. Movement on Facility B has been limited to facilitate the investigation.

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office is assisting CSP-SAC’s Investigative Services Unit. The Office of the Inspector General has been notified.

Family of inmate slain at Sacramento prison sues, claiming guards helped set him up

The family of a Sacramento-area prison inmate allegedly slain by three other prisoners in 2019 is suing California corrections officials, claiming guards conspired to recruit and assist inmates to conduct the stabbing death. The suit stems from the Dec. 12, 2019, slaying of Luis Giovanny Aguilar at California State Prison, Sacramento, where guards have been accused in court papers of conspiring to plan inmate murders and which is the subject of an FBI probe into allegations of wrongdoing there by guards. The prison, also known as New Folsom, has come under renewed focus since the August suicide of a former correctional sergeant turned whistleblower who had been working with attorneys on claims that he had evidence of corruption, harassment and cover-ups by prison staff.

“On or about December 12, 2019, Mr. Aguilar was murdered by three other inmates,” attorneys Kresta Daly and Mark Redmond wrote in their civil rights lawsuit. “Prison guards via their willful indifference to prevent and their actual facilitation of the murder of Mr. Aguilar conspired to cause Mr. Aguilar’s murder. “Defendants wrongful acts included recruiting inmates to murder Mr. Aguilar and allowing these inmates to practice and then carry out the murder.”

Yeah shits all a system. Get searched by DEA CIA FBI, any of the ABC soups that are government owned company’s and you’ll realize why you must always keep an AR on you! We are all human and some of us realize it sooner than others.

Sing along now!!!

:skull: :skull: 🎷🎻🥁🎹🎼🎶🎶
My momma told me son... always be a good boy don't ever play with guns! Now I'm stuck in folsom prison and time keeps dragging on.... when i hear that whistle blowing

Where do you carry your AR? Do you conceal carry too?
I got a Glock with a green switch (only like 27 rounds) for public, but for my home I got 2 ARs, ones a little AK which my brother keeps and ones this B5 saint 5.56/2.23 multi caliber (I literally noticed this shit like 2 days ago looking near the safety when I was thinking bout blowing my brains), which I just recently got and I have hella attachments for. I mind as well get a switch for the AR, but the mail is not safe and local people have bad deals so I’ll hold off until I find some grandpa with ill intent. Some nights I sleep with my AR. If you want a pic of the AR let me know! I basically keep a sling on me in the fucking bathroom so a selfie isn’t out of question.

Why the hell did that guy just sit there. I’ve never spent a day in prison but I knew immediately shit was going down so what was his excuse? Either dumb as shit or he was ready to accept his fate.

They were supposed to be shackled to the chair. The two slipped their shackles. It's being alleged now the COs arranged that with the purpose of murdering the one still chained to his seat.
