There are other ways as well, I can't explain why people seem to think the best route is in a doctors care who wants to treat the illness with poisons that attempt to bring you to the brink of death (often failing and killing the patient) in order to kill the cancer. If the patient does survive, the body is left in such a ravaged state, leaving the body ripe for the cancer to return with a vengeance.
