My neighbors were extreemly loud and annoying, often causing me to lose sleep. I sometimes fantasized about burning their house down and the thought made me smile. Then one day their house burned down on its own. Saw the firetrucks come, and the smoke rising, nobody was hurt but the house was ruined. It's been heavenly ever since in my neighborhood. They tried to rebuild the house but the department of buildings slapped a cease all work order on them because they were breaking tons of building codes (the reason the house burned down to begin with), so now there is just a burnt out shell of a house on my block and peace and quiet. Sometimes all it takes is positive thinking to get what you want, and sometimes dreams really do come true.
