Not really. I don't have any outlandish stuff. At worst they'll find I'm on gore sites but its not exactly a total end of the world scenario, I don't think.

you and some others are kind of saying "oh no, they'll see my gore stuff" and I'm like, so? I'd be surprised if my family WAS surprised by that lol. I guess I just find the really sick shit on people's hard drives cuz you all are thinking of mundane things.

I used to do this back in the early 2000s. Basically how I learned to build a machine, etc. Lots of parts, and google, google, google. Wasnt very often I was lucky enough to find the HDD also though. I did find enough to build tho. I collected so many parts I was selling them on the side out side of my 9-5 job! not for a lot. I got $75 was the most. Just machines for people who couldnt afford one. They were harder to get your hands on back then. good memories.

yep! My bro did this too. Back in those days people were always throwing out their older machines in favor of newer ones so parts were readily available! You had people with straight up zombie PC's left and right because this was such a craze at the time!

Eventually in New Jersey at least the municipalities require you to "E-cycle", call them let them to take them. but yeah those were the days! yup. Ive found zombie machines before. lol

for the rest nothing special like many I record videos gores that I like and arrange them by files: murders suicides accidents ...

I don't mean it in the way you think -- my mother already knows about me perusing on gore sites, I've been doing it since I was 12. Its just outside of our small group of people, the stuff we do in our spare time is already viewed as inhumane or detestable.
I assure you, they WILL be surprised by what you do, normies, especially boomers, think this stuff is absolutely abhorrent and anybody who watches it needs "muh therapy."
To get to my point, we're desensitised to this stuff so we don't think much of it - the average person isn't, they'll 100% be shocked. Brother, mother, father, sister, daughter, son, all will be shocked unless they do the same. It doesn't matter WHY you do it, its that you DO do it.

If I get raided by the FBI because of this website all they will find on my PC is a couple games and 1000's of .PHP files and .txt files with code and notes on compliling shit in Linux, or commands I used to make something happen. I think you're forgetting the 2020 purge of PornHub in which over 10 million of their videos were deleted. I live in TEXAS and now we can't access 75% of porn sites without using a VPN. I've begun to archive porn just as much as I've been archiving gore!!!!
