Imo -- mom's are reticent of mentioning anything sexual to their kids... my parents were investigated by child protective services one time over false accusations and it absolutely traumatized them. They thought "well i cant tell my son not to shower for 30 minutes cuz I know he's jacking off"

My 2 half-sisters... It was some weird cockamamie scheme so that my oldest sister and her new husband could "adopt" my other 3 siblings and I and they'd get tax breaks, gov help buying a house, car, etc. Yeah. They wound up getting caught lying, they recanted, and they were told to hand write and distribute to every single family member and friend of the family that they lied and why they lied. My mother hoarded things throughout my life (think: obtained random things like containers, wood pallets, books, etc. -- just shit she doesn't need but thinks "I might need it one day". She had this one room in the house growing up that was "her bedroom" even though she and my father had a den and she never slept in her "bedroom". She just filled it to the brim in useless shit. One time, I went in there as a teenager. Yeah Dad was out of town and she was at her paramedic job. It was like some Indiana Jones type shit but I went through her cabinet drawers. You know, just... exploring. I was a bored homeschooled kid with nothing to do. And I found the note she sent to our mother saying that she lied, why she lied, etc. My family is very forgiving and all was forgiven and forgotten!

Actually on a different note, my Dad was a cross dresser, he did this somewhat secretly, but every ID he had, slowly progressed with his makeup wearing, there were some pictures of I guess local underground places nearby that participated in that stuff. Fuck he even has women's shoes, I don't remember what size, but they would have equaled a mans size 13. Honestly, I couldn't have cared less, to each his own, but man the makeup was all awful, nothing I would even use.
