An immigrant from a Muslim country rang up the urgent care health service a couple of weeks back.

The message was “wanting to know if poppy pods are legal in the UK”.

I took the call to have some fun. He confirmed it was prepared opium pods he purchased at Bangladeshi shops in Birmingham or London.

I put on a serious voice, informed him opium is a class A drug and the most illegal type of drug in the UK. I then told him all calls he has had regarding this have been recorded and ended the call after he started to panic 😂.
