Agreed, didn't even realise it at the time but I think that was peak society - all been downhill since. I've got friends that are just in their 70s, I reckon they got it right overall - growing up in the 60s, young adults in the 70s, then living it up in the 80s and 90s - seeing the best of the music, movies, everything, and no DEI blue-haired nose ring shite either90s had the best of everything I swear those times were just awesome.
I agree.80s, no contest - no BLM, no muslim immigrants, no tranny culture, no faggot rights, no safe spaces, no DEI, no woke shit and fantastic music.
Gevurah, i am sooo sorry to hear that happened to you. it sucks that youngsters have to go through that.I’d go back to 1992, when I was 11, and stop me mum from gettin’ in the car goin’ to work. I’d have faked bein’ sick, or hurt meself, anythin’ to keep her from goin’ or at least delay her a bit. She wouldn’t have died in that crash if I could’ve.
Main reason? I miss me mum, of course. And that would’ve stopped me endin’ up in foster homes, bein’ tossed around, which led me to run away as a teen, gettin’ mixed up with the wrong crowd, joinin’ a mob (you Americans call ’em gangs) dealin’ drugs, violent crimes… all that eventually landed me in a penitentiary for 9 years of me life, ‘cause I nearly killed a bloke over a drug debt.
Me old man had bailed when I was still in me mum’s belly, and she was all I had, my rock.
When she died, and the abuse from the foster homes hit, I went proper off the rails.
So yeah… 1992. Last day of June, to be exact.
I'll take your 80's and raise you 70's. Rusty kids playgrounds, playing football in bell bottoms, disappearing the whole day on bikes and blow job's from hippie mums80s, no contest - no BLM, no muslim immigrants, no tranny culture, no faggot rights, no safe spaces, no DEI, no woke shit and fantastic music.
It's funny when you see old 80's science fiction movies, people with colored hair and face piercings were portrayed as the super crazy abnormal characters that only existed beyond a post apocalyptic futuristic Earth LOL .. and here we all are in 2025! shit came TRUE!!Agreed, didn't even realise it at the time but I think that was peak society - all been downhill since. I've got friends that are just in their 70s, I reckon they got it right overall - growing up in the 60s, young adults in the 70s, then living it up in the 80s and 90s - seeing the best of the music, movies, everything, and no DEI blue-haired nose ring shite either
I think I'll cheat and extend it to the 70s too.I'll take your 80's and raise you 70's. Rusty kids playgrounds, playing football in bell bottoms, disappearing the whole day on bikes and blow job's from hippie mums
😂Music started it's downward spiral during the 90s..rave music and a million boybands. As soon as the 2000s hit, everything else started turning all to shite....and still getting worse.Agreed, didn't even realise it at the time but I think that was peak society - all been downhill since. I've got friends that are just in their 70s, I reckon they got it right overall - growing up in the 60s, young adults in the 70s, then living it up in the 80s and 90s - seeing the best of the music, movies, everything, and no DEI blue-haired nose ring shite either
This. Pro sound, a/v, and music, in the 70's, was BANK! $100/week paid EVERYTHING, with money left over for weed and partying.I'll take your 80's and raise you 70's. Rusty kids playgrounds, playing football in bell bottoms, disappearing the whole day on bikes and blow job's from hippie mums
A decade too early for me.No one is saying the 60s, and that’s revealing.
Bc hippies fkin suck
70s playground roundabouts and the limb snapping witch's hatI'll take your 80's and raise you 70's. Rusty kids playgrounds, playing football in bell bottoms, disappearing the whole day on bikes and blow job's from hippie mums
But you will have the benefit of knowing all the things you know now so can change your circumstances according to your knowledge of how things turned out back then. What to avoid, what will end up being household products etc .. you could become a billionaire almost overnight. No matter what decade you pick, you’ll have to relive all the bullshit again… unless you are over 40…
