What's with the self harm hate?

Honestly, I know this is a predominately right wing website but why does everyone react so negatively to self harm versus any other form of "gore", i don't really understand, gore is gore and this is the website for it. I get if your moral/political compass doesn't allow/undersand it but at the end of the day its still gore so why do so many people hate on it? Genuinely curious, please only respond if you are going to input on this topic, although i know there will be shitposters or retards that will post to illicit reactions

Most do it for attention therefore pretty much all self harm/suicide posts are attention seeking and fake😉 imo but I'm sure most would agree👍 who goes to a gore site threatening gore😂😂 see what I mean👍😉

It just looks like attention seeking when people post it in threads. That's my opinion anyway. I don't judge people who do it. But dont publicly post it. It won't be viewed as gore, even if you think it is.

Please look at me! Or I'll hurt myself!

Zero to do with political affiliation. Post it if you like, but it's attention seeking behavior and some people don't agree with encouraging the behavior.

Its the same type of attention seeking bullshit as a toddler hearing no to wanting a cookie…
Lots of crying, bit of scratches and bruises and at the end of the day it doesnt make a fucking difference… cut deep and in a artery or stop and act like a normal human being and get drunk or high or go to a casino to deal with them feelings…

First of all there is a big difference between right wing and basic logic Don't call us right wing or what ever - we just comply with basic logic. If you believe black people, muslims etc. is good for society, you clearly haven't watched enough in here.
Secondly, cutters need to go to the psychiatric warden for attention, not a gore site.

but I personally feel that, the attention seeking behaviour is a symptom of mental illness, no sane/normal person would be harming themselves for attention, people harm themselves mostly because they want people to notice their suffering or whatever, i think it's just very insensitive to hate one these people but i am also very left leaning which influences my view on the matter, if someone is willing to harm themselves to get people to notice then they need help regardless

"they want people to notice" isn't that the fkin definition of attention whores?

True, but having a place that encourages the behavior isn't helping, it's enabling.

Just keep it to yourself instead of seeking attention. No different than other attention-seeking behaviour you'll see all over social media, which I don't care for either.

If you have a cool image or video involving your self harm, I think it's fine to show others but without the attention-seeking (i.e. don't say it's you doing it); don't write a novel about your sad life to post with it).

Imagine your kids hacking themselves up, and nothing you could do or say could stop them.. you'd feel terrible about it. But you've probably been through a lot worse without resorting to self harm, and wish your kids would face their problems head on.
So basically, I feel bad for the parents of these kids, and many of these kids are encouraged to do it by online 'friends'
