At least two people are dead, including the gunman, and nine others are being treated at local hospitals following a mass shooting and fire at a Grand Blanc church on Sunday morning, Sept. 28.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on McCandlish was full, with "hundreds" of people attending services about 10:25 a.m., when a gunman rammed a vehicle into the church and opened fire with an assault rifle, "firing several rounds at individuals within the church," said Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye during a news conference.

"Officers who are trained immediately responded to the area. One is a DNR (Department of Natural Resources) officer. One was a Grand Blanc Township officer. They met the suspect and engaged in gunfire with that particular individual, neutralizing that suspect, and that suspect is no longer with us."

The gunman, Renye said, is 40-year-old man from Burton.

From what I could gather from free search on license plate is that it's registered to a 2008 GMC Sierra.. No name attached but funny enough, 1 accident has been reported.....
