I have no infections as you can tell in video but repetitive trauma sounds about right, from hockey skates to my shoes that I like to wear tight... that's gotta be it.Thanks dude! I been dealing with a toenail that fell off 10 years ago and finally found a solution after trying multiple remedies.
I put gentian violet purple dye and it killed the fungus that was embedded under the nail bed.

You can see it's almost back to normal. It passed the litmus test which is long soaks in hot springs which woukd turn the toenail into wet chalk that woukd wipe off and I woumd start to regrow the nail.again.
You can buy gentian violet at some drug stores or on Amazon.
