I wouldn't be surprised if he arranged all that for content.I shouted that about 5 times while watching.
Yeah, he was definitely prioritising getting a video over getting the cat free asap. He didn't even film it properly..I wouldn't be surprised if he arranged all that for content.

Why save the cat.. its nature.. why not same sympathy for rat when he get's eatan by cat...Jesus Christ, put your phone down and use both hands and your brain to save the poor cat!

The same hands that freed a cat from a python’s coils now give blood —— not in defiance of Nature's courses of aging, illness/mishap, and death, but in affirmation of a human one: compassion. Here is the back story, from the filming rescuer himself, a certain Marcus Lee (perhaps for the clicks), see under "full quote".

"I had just set out food for #Luna and #SJ when a rustle in the undergrowth fractured the quiet night. It was followed by snarls, then a yowl that choked into a wet, gurgling gasp. Expecting a squabble between cats, I went to intervene, but instead stumbled into a primal courtroom where life and death were delivering their final verdict.
There, in the drain, was one of the community cats, ensnared in a python’s relentless coils. Its eyes were twin pools of pure terror, a silent scream pleading for a reprieve from a sentence already being carried out.
My core belief screamed at me: to ignore a suffering creature is to betray the very essence of compassion. Yet, my hand was stayed by another truth—to save one life by taking another felt like a deeper blasphemy. The snake was not a murderer; it was a survivor, enacting a karma as old as time.
I had only seconds. The python tightened its grip; the cat's struggle grew feeble. In a flash, I saw the snake's exposed tail. Acting on pure instinct, I seized it and lifted both predator and prey from the concrete. I swung them through the air, a desperate, whirling dance to disorient the snake, to break its fatal focus. For a heart-stopping moment, it felt like an eternity. Then, finally, the pressure released. The cat, a blur of liberated fear, shot into the safety of the shadows.
I watched the python, ensuring it was unharmed. It slid away into the night, a silent, graceful power returning to the earth. I whispered an apology into the darkness, hoping it understood—hoping it could accept my trespass for its lost meal. Had it been the snake in distress, I would have fought just as fiercely for it. This was not about choosing sides.
Afterwards, all my reasoning felt hollow. Whether I call it "letting nature take its course" or "acting as a savior," I cannot escape the truth: I have intervened in a sacred karma. I have redirected a destiny that was not mine to touch.
So be it. If there is a price for this interruption, let the karmic debt be mine to bear. May all beings, in all directions, be well and happy."

Here endeth Marcus Lee's tale, "The Cat and the Serpent"* with a philosophical touch.
