animals Jumping spider takes out fly

I always wonder what exactly does the spider eat because it leaves the corpse in its web. Does it suck out the bug juices? Eat the little bug organs? Now I need to search and find out..

The feeding process
Immobilize: A spider first bites its prey, often injecting venom to subdue or kill it.
Digest: The spider then regurgitates digestive enzymes onto the prey. These enzymes break down the soft tissues and organs into a liquid.
Suck: Spiders have a sucking stomach that draws the liquefied insides through their mouth.
Discard: After all the liquid has been consumed, the spider is left with the indigestible, empty outer shell or husk of the bug, which it will discard.

Yup. External digestion. That's why spiders don't splat like other bugs. I find them very cute. This summer I befriended a bold spider. Biggest jumping spider in north America. At first I thought little sad droopy green eyes were looking at me from my mulch bags near my garden. pic related, if you squint your eyes at the image youll see what I mean. Absolutely lovable little fella.

Didn't notice where the eyes actually were and that the green were actually fangs until the next day when it lived up to its name and jumped on my knee instead of just staring at me, exploring me all over real friendly. I put it back where it disappeared to the day before. The following days it would watch me or jump on me and would only go off to hunt and do spider things when I'd pick it up and put it back on the mulch pile. Turns out they're all like that. Bold in the, "You're big and funny looking, lets be pals." Way and not the "I have no fear of man, I will die violently here." Way.
