That's another thing I noticed. Many of them in my area suffer from clear mental and physical genetic deficiencies - a result, undoubtedly, from intermarriage with first cousins. The most profound appears to be a form of hip dysplasia - which gives many of them a very distinctive gait, like that of a duck, a waddle if you will...
