In Kayseri, a suspect who robbed a jewelry store by breaking the shutters with a forklift and then escaped on a donkey was caught by the police.

"A robbery took place at around 4:00 AM yesterday morning at the jewelry store on Tekin Street in the İldem Cumhuriyet Neighborhood of Melikgazi district. M.Ç. (26) arrived in front of the jewelry store with a stolen forklift. Breaking the store's shutters with the forklift, the suspect entered and stole 150 grams of jewelry. The alarm went off, and numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams launched an operation to apprehend the suspect who fled the scene.
Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch, specifically the Burglary and Pickpocketing Bureau, identified the suspect as M.Ç. following field work and camera footage analysis. M.Ç. was taken into custody and, after processing at the police station, was arrested and sent to prison. The 150 grams of gold found buried in the ground were returned to their owner. Meanwhile, the incident was captured on security camera footage. The images show M.Ç. using a forklift to break the jeweler's shutter and entering the shop. The footage also shows the suspect leaving the scene on a donkey after stealing jewelry."
