They may be classed as endangered on a world scale but in Aus they're prolific to the point of plague.
Every year Darwin pull over 300 out of the harbour and take them to croc farms. More keep coming in to take up territory as they are breeding so fast. Protected against huntin sice 1972. A 53 year old croc is pretty big now and has zero fear of humans...
