But you and @ZeroK speak an educated person's dialect of Spanish. This seems like a dialect of rural Mexican spanish. (I'm just guessing). Mostly only the indigenous peoples that are living there in these areas can understand it today though. But, I've seen this type of ritual before with the dead.
