South-Western Sydney Muslim cemetery desecrated with pigs heads after Bondi terror attack

In a statement, police said around 6am on Monday, they received reports of animal remains left at the entrance to a cemetery on Richardson Road, Narellan.

“Officers attended and found several pig heads at the scene. Police immediately commenced an investigation into the incident,” the statement read.

“The pig heads have since been removed and disposed of appropriately.”

A picture showing shooter Naveed Akram alongside Sheikh Adam Ismail, the head of the Al-Murad Institute, is going viral online.

Ismail said the picture had triggered a wave of harassment and threats, forcing his family to flee their home and seek police assistance amid fears for their safety.

“I last had contact with him in early 2022, but we just strictly teach people to read the Koran here, nothing else,” he said.

“I have a young family, and we’ve been harassed with death threats. We’ve had to evacuate our home, and have needed police assistance, for which we’re very thankful.”
