I totally understand with the whole 'fatigue' thing. It gets really tiresome. - with this particular case .. both sides had very impatient and self centered motivations. My Dad left my Mum when I was just a little kid but the stories I got told over the years (even though I knew they were likely exaggerated) He was a shit head to people cos of his badge. I honestly think the reason cops yell out contradicting orders is intentionally designed to cause confusion in the suspect so he unintentionally does something wrong which gives the cops an excuse to shoot them. No one will ever convince me that cops don't want to shoot citizens any less than soldiers want to shoot insurgents. I believe American cops look at American citizens as insurgents.
