@Jenny I couldn't agree with you more. I was 51 working 50 to 60 hours a week on the railroad. I got COVID and it damn near killed me. I spent 6 months in hospitals, physical therapy and occupational therapy. I was on a ventilator for 10 weeks. I had about a 2% chance of living to come off of the ventilator alive.

I beat the odds against me but I had to learn how to do everything all over again. I was too weak to do literally anything for myself at all. I couldn't move myself without help. I was too weak to take the cap off of a chap stick tube to moisten my lips. I couldn't eat or drink anything for 4 1/2 months.

The only thing not affected by COVID and long COVID is my heart. Everything else has been affected. I now only have 30% of my lungs left as functioning lung tissue. The 70% is now scar tissue that doesn't transfer oxygen to my red blood cells any longer.

I am now medically disabled, my life has been totally disrupted and I will never be able to fulfill my dreams of doing what I planned in retirement.

I have a special place in my heart for Fauci. I don't care how old he is or anything else. I want payback for basically derailing my life. Killing the sorry bastard outright is way too fast. I want him to suffer like I did. To feel the pain of physical therapy and having to learn how to do everything all over again.

I survived when all of the odds were against me so I am not complaining at all. I am seriously lucky to be alive and I remember that fact every single day. Tomorrow is not guaranteed so live everyday like it is your last. You never know it just might be your last day on earth.

As I remember at the time doctors were warning at the time long term use of ventilators caused damage to lungs, plus 6 months on your back would cause a lot of your problems of weakness, none of it to do with Covid, but to do with your treatment

I'm so sorry you've suffered like this. I lost loved ones from the pandemic, covid, and if I had the power to have stopped the pandemic from happening, I would have! So would have lots of others, I'm sure.
I don't know if he, Dr. Tony Fauci, specifically, released the virus but, seems it came from a facility he was responsible for though and the measures to mandate people get the clot shot, which may be what's killed some healthy persons too, were from him so seems he is at fault. But... as it's been said, he's already 85 years old. He doesn't care. He has permanent West Nile virus himself too and I believe gets recurrent symptoms from that. I'm not sure but, maybe. I was put on the ventilator because at that time my lungs were too weak to properly ventilate me fully. I was finally weaned off of the ventilator and that started my recovery process. I was so weak because of being on the ventilator for 10 weeks.

During the time that I was on the ventilator they didn't properly turn me so I ended up with stage 4 decubitus ulcer on my left hip. It took 4 different surgeries and 2 1/2 years to finally heal it. All of my medical issues stem directly from Covid and now Long Covid. The only part of my body that hasn't been affected is my heart. I now have CKD Stage 3b from all of the high doses of medication to keep me sedated.

Dr. Fauci was responsible for sending the gain of function tests to be done in China because he wanted that information. It was illegal to do gain of function testing here in the US. Do to the gain of function testing in the lab the virus got out. Was it intentional? I don't know but China could have shut it's borders and warned the world but they didn't and did the exact opposite so millions died.

Avoiding a pressure sore is very straightforward. If nursing staff reposition the patient every two hours and keep the skin clean and dry, they will avoid it, period.

You can also use a special mattress that very slowly and gradually inflates different parts more than others, so that the pressure doesn't stay concentrated in one place for too long. My father had one of those in home hospice and it worked wonderfully.

Vaccines do not protect you from contracting it at all. At best, they claim they can hopefully give you some immunity IF you do get it and that's excluding any potential about the vaccine harming you itself. But, he contracted the Omicron variant and during lockdown when there weren't vaccines available initially but, even those that did become available did not give a person any immunity to the Omicron variant. Only the newer updated bivalant vaccines claim to offer some protection against that variant and they weren't available back then for sure. Even if they did, they aren't a guarantee of anything obviously since I know someone who was vaccinated & boosted but still ended up hospitalized and then they died. I don't remember which variant they had.
