I remember back in the early 90s I went to Bank of America and there were posters for small business loans. "Special Loans and Lines for Women and Minorities"!
So if a black dude, a woman of any race and a white guy with the same income, credit score and borrowing needs walk into the bank the white guy would get turned down but the other two could get the loan. Doesn't seem fair.

Yea in the 90s BOA heavily advertised programs for women and minorities, but that dont mean white dudes were getting turned down if they qualified. it's money over everything here. if a white guy walked in with a great credit score and solid income, the bank would gladly take his business and make money off his loan. The programs didn't lower the credit standards for minorities, they just advertised to them and set aside shit to ensure those communities finally got access.
And shit set aside for those communities sounds fair and equitable to you? Sounds like propagation of segregation to me

They'd walk in the door with $300 and leave with $299 worth of stuff and then wonder why they didn't have money for fried chicken and watermelon later.
