Does anyone here like to run?

Good afternoon all, depending on your timezone,

I have been an avid runner for the past decade or so. It's really great and has the following benefits:

1. Keeps you in good shape (obviously).
2. Your brain releases endorphins that make you happy and reduce stress. In fact many studies have found routine exercise tends to have similar effects to mild antidepressants.
3. Your bones and tendons grow stronger over time.
4. Stress regulation: running acts like a pressure valve and dissipates stress.
5. Lastly, runners often experience deeper sleep cycles than non-runners. You are also less likely to suffer from difficulty in falling asleep.

Thoughts?

I used to live about 6km from work at Royal Darwin Hospital and would run to work along the beach and through the mangrove walk way to get there. It was a great way to start the day. I ended up with a torn miniscus and after the trim there was not enough left to cushion the shocks from running so it was cycling from then on.

Bike here is my wife's. I used it to ride to work and go shopping etc. It was a 'sleeper'. I fitted a Bafang 1000W motor to it running off a 58v battery. Bike looks super boring but would go like a bat out of hell. Up until the rim brake wore through the alloy rim...

But riding flat out up Casuarina Beach at Dawn was always great.

I used to walk everywhere miles n miles and was able to run quiet a distance back in the before times (old age is catching up to me 😂 plus shite genetics a dose of arthritis slowly creeping in etc) never experienced the need to wear skin tight crack revealing shorts and power walking just looks to hilarious 😂😂..........also fat guy excuses 👍🏻

You can't be that fast though, that fat cunt you paid to cuddle you easily caught up to you when you wore the bunnysuit.

And though endorphins help prevent muscles from feeling pain, it is unlikely that endorphins in the blood contribute to a euphoric feeling, or any mood change at all. Research shows that endorphins do not pass the blood-brain barrier.
 
Congrats to you brother, but no i had a horrible fall back in 2008 I was 21 yrs old I fell 17 ft broke my back I have had 12 back surgeries Dr's are saying they still wanna do more but i give up man. I learned to walk again thats good enough for me. But even b4 my fall I hated running. I was never good at it
