List 5 things that scared you as a kid and why

It is weird what scares us as a kid. Stephen King often says that the first film that scared him was Bambi because of the forest fire scene. So just list stuff from childhood that freaked you out.
5. Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction
This was a show on sci-fi that was in the vein of twilight zone. This show wasn't that scary even as a kid but there was this one story. Basically this woman calls a plastic surgen to her house to fix her face. She tells about how she bitched out a stylist who then put a curse on her soul. She sees herself as hidious. But you never see what she looks like until the end. It closes up to the Surgen's face as he says there is nothing he can do for her. Out of nowhere a mirror comes up and reveals this hiddeous face. It is a perfect jump scare. This face haunted my dreams for weeks.

4.THIS FUCKING GUY from Pinocchio
As a kid the fear of being kidnapped was always on my mind. This drove it home. This guy turns kids into donkeys and sends them to mines for a miserable life of hard labor. AND NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM THE MOVIE FUCKING ENDS AND HE IS STILL FUCKING DOING THIS. I mean if I was Pinocchio I'd ask the fairy to shove a lightning bolt up his ass. As an adult one can also see a metaphore for pedofilia here. An older gentalmen lures children with promise of candy and other things. Then the kids are "transformed" and are no longer children which could be a symbol for loss of inoccence.

3. I had ashma as a kid and one night during one attack my dad turned the TV to a random channel to keep me awake as I used my breathing machine. It was around 2:00AM and he passed out on the couch while I watched Rosemary's Baby. I only saw the middle and the end. I remember the ending where she screams at what her baby looks like. She keeps saying "what did you do to him" so I thought that they had deformed him in some kind of twisted surgery and they were just getting away with it.

1. Teen Titans. This episode was when they watch a "cursed" film and that's where the shit hits the fan. It starts with random screams in the house. Then the power goes out. Then this fucking Lovecraftian nightmare appears I mean look at this fucking thing. The episode plays out like something out of Hellraiser and was pretty scary and had some great setup.

There were a couple of beyond beliefs that used to get get me too. There was one about a driver getting followed by a guy everywhere he drove then they found the corpse of the stalker man in his trunk. The other one was the death horn episode.

Another really scary TV episode is one called 'The Flypaper' from tales of the unexpected. Just gives me shivers.thinking about it!

Other then that, when I was younger I used to be petrified of dogs, I've learnt to control my phobia over the years though. I still get a bit panicked when a dog jumps up at me but nothing like I used to be.

Boars :/
When I was a little girl I was asking so many questions about gangsters and death to this way older guys that were taking care of me so in one moment I asked them how did gangsters hide soooo many bodies ? and where
So one of them said that they gave the bodies to the boars , "...they even eat the bones"
so I guess since then I am terribly scared of them, had many nightmares

Can't think of five things, but this movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. It was the buzzing electrical sounds it made that did it, well that and the strangely creepy minimalist piano score.

Porcelain dolls/masks
False teeth
Amputees
Churches
That scene in the Twilight Zone movie where it shows that girl with no mouth

I totally get all of those, apart from the false teeth. Did a Grandparent tease you with them or something? Srs question btw.

No, an old guy that ran a store down the street from where I grew up. I went in with my mother one day, must have been 5 or 6 years old, and as he was talking to my mother at the counter, I noticed his teeth weren't keeping pace with the rest of his mouth. Must not have had them in properly or something. Anyway, I asked him why his teeth were moving on their own, and he said "They're alive. Look!" and promptly knocked them out of his mouth and onto the counter. Being that young, I didn't know that dentures were a thing, and I freaked the fuck out and took off running back up the street. Took me years to get that shit sorted out.

I'm trying to think of 5 things but I generally wasn't freaked out easily as a kid. I was that kid that would be found watching Halloween in the morning while chomping on cereal haha.

One thing I do recall is when I was lying in bed I'd hate having my toes sticking out of the covers. I just always felt that if I did something would grab me.
