Children are used as soldiers because they are easier to condition and brainwash. They don't eat much food, don't need paying much and have an underdeveloped sense of danger so are easier to send into the line of fire.
As children make up the majority demographic in many conflict-affected countries, there's a constant supply of potential recruits. Due to their size and 'expendability', children are often sent into battle as scouts or decoys, or sent in the first wave to draw the enemy's fire.

I know kids have been and still are used in war and i'm not and have never been in a war zone.
Doesn't make it right,i know in Rwanda they kidnapped children as young as 9 and forced them to fight.

i have to agree it sucks and its stupid as hell, however its the reality of the world and what dumbasses think of there kids not much huh... at least we and most civilized countries think better of our children to put them in such a situation..
Errrm! I'd correct that and say more civilised because you take away man's creature comforts for long enough and they become animals..scavengers who'd kill for a meal etc.

I think you're confusing civilised with money.
Money doesn't make people civilised,it's how they're born and raised.
you would think so but alas no money dosent have to do much with it ie: china.... however i'll use burma as a example a lesser country . the people of burma would not use there kids, no way never,, during the war they had however the mussies in the country did use there kids in the war it was common place.... so yeah it is what your taught even in the lesser countries...

One of the few things my dad talked about being on ghe front line in 'Nam was having to kill a child my age. Around 3 yrs old.
