my fave film. the acting, cinematograpy, clues and details more gripping than the later films,the latter hannibal movies felt like dark studio lot sets, and anthony and jodi...... well they felt like....anthony and jodi the actors.

The one thing I don't like about Manhunter is it doesn't show Dollarhyde kill the families. I don't really have a problem with any of the other Hannibal movies. I think they're all pretty good. Manhunter is the shit though.

and i not big fan either...
i was loving it up to when first avalanche hit the restaurant . it put me on the edge of my seat waiting for tragedy/survival to unfold, only to find it was mostly movie about the husband and wife marriage issue
even though i didnt it the director managed the marital issue in witty unique way.
yeah very misleading film

I liked it.

The Revenant. if you like bears ,snow and Indians.
The Hateful Eight. if you like snow, awesome dialogue and a woman being punched in the face a lot.
Crimson Peak. if you like snow, Mary Shelly-esque and a woman being killed with a shuffle.
Knight of Cups. if you get further into this then 20 minutes......
Queen of the desert. if you like sand and an actress with the expression of a styrofoam cup
