Naproxen is awesome shit. It used to be prescription only, but now it's over the counter. Works for everything.
I could have bought the over the counter brand but went with the prescription script from the hospital. First dose did shit. Second dose about 10 hours later knocked me out, lol.

Congrats on the job :).

I never made it that far, but I was an ADT Operator back in my late teens for about 2 years. My brother still works for them (I think Tyco bought the company?) and is a branch manager or something.

Enjoy the Mon-Fri, the pay and the bonus of benefits :)

Saw the orthopedic surgeon today for a cortisone shot, He's sliced into me 3 times and knows my chronic pain history so knew I could count on his for some pain meds. Haven't had them for a year now, to celebrate I shopped my ass off. Also got a rolling suitcase for my trip to N.C. on the 31st.

Saw my pain specialist today myself and got my 10-325 Hydros. So happy right now!

I hope you haven't been on hydrocodone very long. It's not a good med for long term chronic pain and was never meant to be prescribed as such. I cringe every time I see a patient has been on it for years and question their physicians competence.

We had this stuff as Dihydrocodeine here only to treat addicts (substitution). The withdrawal was notorious.
Now it's a med of 'second choice', prescribed only if you don't tolerate Methadone, etc.
I got it in the '90s for some time, great shit.

(Sorry, if I told you that already 3 times before.)

The last report I read says that hydrocodone is the 2nd most prescribed drug in America. The 1st is a thyroid drug. It is out of control.

It's a recent one. I take it when the tramadol won't cover it that day.
Took that to go to sleep. Was 3 days without sleep and had a quick way to get to sleep and took it.
All good here

Wow. I didn't know that. I would have thought that maybe Paxil, Oxy or Clonazepam (Rivotril) would have headed the list. I have Chronic Pain Syndrome (shoulders, arms, hands, neck) mixed with some Fibromyalgia (upper back) and my doc did prescribe me some new wonder pain-killer drug, can't remember what it was called, at some point but nothing ever did anything to relieve the constant 7-24 hr pain. I was tempted to try Oxy or Hydrocodone ER but I don't want to end up addicted to anything. The only thing that worked for me was...Ibuprofen (extra strength).

Like you said, it is out of control - but nothing will be done because of the billions of $'s that pharmaceutical companies, funded research, doctors, etc., make every year.
