Russia Unveils:​

All-New RPG-29M with Extended Range Grenades ...​

The RPG-29M weighs just a third of the original Soviet-era RPG-29. It features a two-piece modular design.
One part is a reusable firing unit with the sight and the other is a disposable container holding the round.

The RPG-29M can be equipped with modern optical and thermal imaging sights, doubling its precision range of fire.
It also noted that the grenade launchers' improved loading system significantly expands the variety of ammunition
it can fire.


Three new rounds were developed especially for the launcher:

The PG-29VM - tandem high-explosive anti-tank round.
The TBG-29VM - thermobaric round for use against fortifications.
The MG-29V - multi-purpose round.

* Incendiary, cluster, and fragmentation rounds are also planned.
