You can actually use them as weights when fishing. I bought a bunch a few years back and spent a weekend setting up fishing weights they work really well. That some memories though takes me back to the amiga days.

The good mice had nice heavy balls. I think they were rubber coated ball bearings. Those ones you could certainly get someone's attention with. They would make good ammo for a wrist rocket. The cheap mouse balls were too light for throwing.

back when ball mice where ball mice where getting replaced i got a ton of mice and before i thew them away i took out those steal ones for throwing at cars that cut me off on the highway it would sound like a firecracker/22 when it would hit they where so nice i ran out fast
