That’s everywhere bro. But down there it’s rock. Water doesn’t sink in the ground. It flows over it. It’s a tragedy. But not everyone lives. Shit I just got back from vacation and could’ve died kayaking with my 10yr old. I lost my kayak. I was able to get it back and I wasn’t wearing a life jacket. But I have a head in my shoulder of getting out of situations. I flipped it in current hitting a downed tree. It got stuck and I grabbed the branch. I told my kid. Don’t come right here. I unlocked the kayak and floated on top of it to lesser currents until I got to the edge of the river where I could flip it to get the water out. I told me son to grab my paddle cause it was down river. Needless to say. We were stuck. We went to the bank. Pulled the kayaks and started walking. We were 2miles from camp. Luckily we met a police officer who helped us. And only reason she did? Was cause my 10yr old was with me. It could’ve been bad. Lesson learned…Texas, lol.
Nature's like, hey ya'll! Watch this!

Smells of bullshit? Why in THE fuck would I even say something like this? You’re a fucking idiot if you think I’m making up the story. Near camp there was literally no current. But about 100yrds you saw current begin. I figured I could paddle back. Needeless it say? That wasn’t happening. And my son was in his own kayak following me. If you must know? I was in north fork on the river above Broken Bow lakeI smell bullshit from your post.
Regarding the thread…TX weather can change in an instant.

GoodKERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Rescuers scoured flooded riverbanks littered with mangled trees Saturday and turned over rocks in the search for more than two dozen children from a girls’ camp and many others missing after a wall of water blasted down a river in the Texas Hill Country. The storm killed at least 37 people across the state, including 14 children.
Some 36 hours after the floods, authorities still have not said how many people were missing beyond 27 children from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp along a river in Kerr County where most of the dead were recovered. The destructive fast-moving waters rose 26 feet (8 meters) on the Guadalupe River in just 45 minutes before daybreak Friday, washing away homes and vehicles. The danger was not over as torrential rains continued pounding communities outside San Antonio on Saturday and flash flood warnings and watches remained in effect.
Searchers used helicopters, boats and drones to look for victims and to rescue people stranded in trees and from camps isolated by washed-out roads. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vowed that authorities will be relentless in rescuing and recovering victims. “We will find every one of them,” he said. The number of victims climbed as more rain continued around Austin and a massive search continued in the nearby Hill Country. At least three people died and 10 others were missing in Travis County, home to the state’s capital.
Two people died in Burnet County, where a firefighter was among the missing after he was swept away by floodwaters while responding to a rescue, the county Emergency Management Coordinator Derek Marchio said. Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said the bodies of 32 people had been recovered so far in the devastated Hill Country: 18 adults and 14 children.
Authorities were coming under growing scrutiny over whether the camps and residents in places long vulnerable to flooding received proper warning and whether enough preparations were made. Ok. I've lived in Texas all my life, and I am an adult. Texas weather is seriously fucked. Lol. Most of the time, it's hot with 100 percent humidity, especially when you're closer to the Gulf, like I am. So, it's not particularly arid. It's hot and sticky and miserable. In a case like this tragedy, there was way too much rain, in a short time. We have the Guadalupe River, which winds through most of Central Texas. When we get too much rain, that river comes over it's banks and all hell breaks loose. Eight years ago, a few days after Hurricane Harvey, we had severe flooding around the river. The local zoo didn't even have enough time to evacuate all the animals. Some drowned, sadly. Also, many ppl lost their house, crops and other valuables. We're not used to getting flooded, but we know it can happen very quickly, because of that river. The ppl should not have been there, if they knew the river may flood. As a British mong I wouldn't have thought flooding would've been an issue in Texas its always arid n dry looking on tv....... and texans sound like cowboys which again in movies or on tv are usually set in dry arid dusty places 🤔 help I need an adult preferably an American to tell me how wrong I am and stupid......... aaaaaand go
You want a man to suck your dick and then use his 45 on you? oddSuck my dick then use your 45cal
Do you think this was modified weather like HARP?apparently there also was no warnings on this flood rising the way it did.
im hearing and seeing that the finger pointing award goes to..... trump!! for all those cuts he had made and n.o.a.a. as part of them cuts. so the organization is short handed and this situation could have been better prevented.
