A Question For The Canadians - When Do You Serve Thanksgiving Dinner

Had a discussion at work today about when is the correct day to serve Thanksgiving dinner, Sunday or Monday. Some, myself included, say its Sunday so you can gorge yourself and spend Monday recovering. Others say that since Thanksgiving is Monday* that's the day to eat no different than you serve Christmas dinner on December 25th.

*for you Americans our TG is always the second Monday in October

One of the things I like about working for a US based company and that's where my boss is, the ability to double down on holidays like Thanksgiving or other ones you guys recognize but not in Canada. They take the Thursday & Friday off (I think they have to give up another holiday like MLK day or something).

yea,because some places say if you work the friday after,they pay you for thanksgiving. and its fucking bullshit. i tell them to stick both days up their ass. im opting for the 4day wknd.
the work will still be there on monday i get back. and if the job is under the gun,then have the guy who made the schedule up,come in on friday and work on it himself.
