Even the name Punjab sounds like a very personal and violent attack.
I spent a year in South Korea and heard the word "poontang" all the time. Sometimes shortened to simply "poon," and sometimes "tang." That's how GIs are. Punani - same thing (or as the Koreans would say, samsing).Would that word be a combination of punani (Jamacian) and jab (middle English)?

Yes, in 1980 it was extremely cheap. Another G.I. told me he had a girl all night and all it cost him was a 2 oz bottle of Tasters Choice. I got laid for a peach once. It wasn't an American peach - it was an Asian peach the size of a softball, super sweet and juicy. I still think about her every time I eat a peach, although they're usually just South Carolina peaches.Try to snatch it out of your mind...did you ever get slanty snatch in Korea?
