Not advocating for a 38 year old to date a 16 year old, but under Zambia penal code Article 138, it states:

(1) Any person who unlawfully and carnally knows any child commits a felony and is liable, upon conviction, to a term of imprisomnent of not less than fifteen years and may be liable to imprisonment for life;

Provided that it shall be a defence for a person charged with an offence under this section to show that the person had reasonable cause to believe, and did in fact believe, that the child against whom the offence was committed was of, or above, the age of sixteen.

Again, not advocating this nonsense.
